Obesity ? An External Symbol of A Country in Inner Turmoil

When we talk of obesity, the immediate focus is on the adverse health effects that it causes and how it curtails quality of life, can lead to chronic illness and even premaure death.

This article, however, goes one step further and presents the crushing dominoe effect that obesity causes throughout the country at both the social and economy levels.?

?So when the above-article talks about ?the whole story,? I would venture to say that the whole story is that we are destroying ourselves from the inside out.

Far from any ?terrorist? being the biggest threat of the day, it is our lack of self control and our inability to dominate our own cravings which will, in the end, place the writing on the wall.

You can make a difference by making a difference in your OWN life. It all has to start with the individual. I hope that these posts and articles can at the very least lead us to reflect and, even more important, become willing to change.?
